PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

My dear students & parents,

It is pleasure and honour for me to be able to convey my heartfelt appreciation on the excellent progress of St. Thomas school, Gonda in all spheres of activity – whether it is academics or extracurricular activities.

St. Thomas school unit Christ Church College was inaugurated on 1st April 2009, and began functioning from the 2nd of April with a promise to be dedicated to our purpose and service.

We started school with 269 students 12 teaching staff and 4 office staff. We began with one section from Nursery to Class V. It was indeed a challenge to train the parents as well as students to get on the track.

Our priorities have always been overall discipline, proper guidance of students as well as encouraging fluency in English, extra attention to the weak students, politeness and finally to continue harder to reach greater heights.

By the grace of almighty we now have a strength of 1800 students for which we have added a section from Nursery to class VIII.
Being a co-education institution, St. Thomas school, Gonda is extending the platform of equal opportunity to both girls and boys for an educated tomorrow; an opportunity for our boys and girls to study together, to interact and to learn to treat one another as equal and to realize that each one of us will play our part in the years to come as responsible, educated human beings.
I am very grateful to Mr. R. K. Chattree our Principal who has provided us with a beautiful school and is always willing to give us moral support and guidance. We have been successful in building this school as it is written in Phillipians 1:6.

“BE CONFIDENT OF THIS, THAT HE WHO BEGAN A GOOD WORK IN YOU WILL CARRY IT ON TO COMPLETE UNTIL THE DAY OF CHRIST JESUS.”
